When using DOF I assume you need an aperture setting and photographic exposure.

Anyhow, Tone mapping requieres a lot of trial and error.  I would love to see the proper order for tone mapping settings for using LUT's

2
I also wonder if there is any reason to use the photographic settings  ? Maybe simple exposure is all you need to get as good results.

I had no idea you can change the hierarchy of the tone mapping settings. Which is logical if you understand LUT's. Anyhow, thanks for your comments since now I have a better idea how to manage tone mapping.

You are aware that ACES OT does not work or greys out the image with photographic exposure ?

Another thing is that LUT's behave totally different under simple exposure. See attachments. I even wonder if the LUT's properly work if set at photographic exposure.
When I set the LUT for Kodak Portra 400 at simple exposure it looks great (blueish) as I expected it would with this LUT. This LUT with photographic exposure seems off and a bit magenta.

I found it. Thanks. But you really need to get this part of the UI more obvious. I will have forgotten this work around in a few months and will ask the same question again.

Thanks Tom, for your quick reply. It still does not have any effect. I attached a default scene file. Maybe you can reply by setting that file with a camera to use aperture and shutter speed. I am not able to whatever setting I try. Since there are so many ways to control exposure by camera or not there must be dozens of ways to go wrong or right.

I haven't rendered for a few months and somehow I can't get the camera settings to do much if at all.
There are four settings that can override to do nothing or all :
- Corona preferences
- Corona VFB
- Corona tag attributes
- Camera Attributes

I can set the VFB when I use the simple exposure settings but any other way to control exposure seems without effect.
I have attached a file. The only way to control exposure is by simple exposure. Other ways by setting shutter speed or aperture have failed to have any effect.

Any help appreciated.

Very impressive. Exactly what I as hoping for and more. I will use this a lot for vegetation.

Important when using clusters for the first time is keeping all settings at 0 except "size" and seed otherwise you might not see much happening.
Hierarchy of objects under Chaos scatter in the object manager makes a difference and fun to play with.

A request. I wish the frequency setting slider bar would be a little wider or easier to use. Its such a small bar (and no option to set in numbers) and a hassle to use while its super important for clusters.

Tx for your quick response. Looks to be a great feature.
I tried it with one cube and nothing happened. Will try again with more than one when back at the office.

Does it already work and if so an example or a few hints how to get it started. I don't get any results no matter the settings for a procedural cluster scattering.
Seems to be a great new feature.

Thanks. yes you can adjust and so on. But generally, how many human's can you put in an image that are on their mobile. It simply reduced the Chaos Cosmos library by a lot.

Just a little tip for the Choas Cosmos models.
Waving people, pointing people or people on mobiles are useless for me. Maybe its just me but I try to avoid those unnatural posed models.

Tx, great for the update. Hope its fixable.

Since Cinema4D with Corona installed (daily build 13) does no longer quit at quitting the app (it stays active in the background) I forget to force quit Cinema4D at the end of the day only to find out at home I can not work with Corona.

Can this bug be resolved so that I no longer have to hassle with the Corona license.

Hope the above makes any sense.
