Hi,

I previously used 3dsmax 2019 and corona renderer with 1080 ti. I am using 3dsmax 2020 on my new system with rtx 2070. I thought that 2070 will be abit slower or the same as 1080 ti. When I opened my latest scene I was surprised that 2070 rendered interactive view almost in real time and only needed abit to clear the picture. Something that my 1080 ti was not able to do by far. Is corona interactive viewport taking advantage of rtx tech? In games these cards are pretty close to each other but is it totally different in interactive rendering? Or is the new system just snappier.

Corona does not use the GPU at all, except for AI Denoising.

Ok. So then interactive rendering is faster because of faster processor.
