Guys,
I have a library pack with textures and max files  sharing same folder location for each max file.
c:\Library\Sofa\file.max
c:\Library\Sofa\textures.jpg

Some way to max relink automatic the assets that are sharing same folder location and make a batch of this process to be repeated for the whole library?

Maybe configuring project paths in 3ds Max and adding library's root folder would do it for you? Unless the library is really huge.

I figure out using Project Manager. Still a bit of work but is running smooth.

You could also put this script into your scripts/startup directory and it will auto re-path found files to the absolute path (OK) automatically. Works for maps/proxies etc.

I couldnt find an elegant way to make it work when double clicking on a max file (it will toggle the asset tracker on/off quickly). But it wont do this if you File > Open.

It might not be relevant for the OP anymore, but i'll leave this info here in case someone else will face similar problem. Apparently you can batch-run Colin Senner's Relink Bitmap script on Max file folders.
