Hi,

I want to control scatter object distribution with vertex map shader, but it is not working. What am I doing wrong?

To Scatter both your vertex map colours look identical, i.e. fully white. You can see this for yourself if you convert the image to black and white. It is recommended to use black and white colours in data maps, so you can easily see what to expect.

Mmm thing is I tried with black and white using 'Vertex Color Tag' and the result it still does not work.

Can someone show me a working Vertex map set up in C4D? I can't make it work no matter what :(

Hi there, Vertex maps are not currently supported. I think there might be a way to convert them to true black and white as this is what is assisting the scatter.

Wow, really bad! When are we going to get this feature? Man, listen to this, vertex maps for scattering, masking, whatever it is. Should be working since the first version. It saves you tons of time. I think Corona leaves a lot to be desired in terms of integration. That's essential!
