Hey,

I found that Variation Shader seems to be quite buggy in Cinema4d.

First thing is that it seems to store Textures somewhere it should not. I used a Variation Shader for a temporary floor material. After deleting the Material, it still looks for the texture, giving me an error message and even crashing Cinema4d when I try to Teamrender. Seems like it can't find the texture on all other machines.
To be clear, the missing textures is not used in any material anymore, not located anywhere on the server, but still causing an error message.

Second is that Textures in the Variation Shader aren't shown in texture manager. If a texture is missing, you have to go into each variation shader replacing the missing textures instead of finding missing textures via Texture manager.

Edit: I am using Cinema4d R20 with Corona Renderer Version 3 hotfix 1 on a MacPro using the latest OSX.

Hope anyone can help? How do I get rid of the phantom Material?
