Simple yet effective. And no glossiness involved. Wow.

Why not use corona scatter with geometry?

This towel looks better but it looks as if it was made of concrete or very very rough. :)

Vray is a nice example of a renderer that is reasonably good at everything ;)
Yes, but usually only if you use lots of biases and fakes. Or have a render farm.

Some leaves on the ends of branches are pure yellow, I think they should be more orange and a bit darker. Maybe all the leaves should be less translucent and less saturated?

I say "just" because it's a very beautiful realistic render, but for me not interesting for a commercial use. Exemple: i know how difficult is make that and i say "wow! Amazing!", but a boss of an little advertising agency sometime don't know the work or not wery well, he might say : "ok this render engine can make realistic usb keys lol but how about a lots of trees for my architecture work? Maybe it's better purchase another render engine.."
It's just my opinion for this particular render, nothing more...

Remember Corona is currently in ALPHA stage. And even on this level, it's already gained a lot of attention and is able to produce good renders that can compete against commercial products in terms of speed and/or accuracy. I think what you can surely say about Corona is that it has huge potential, that probably won't be wasted.

Also, you probably can't have a renderer that is good at everything. As for now, Corona is great for interior rendering or product visualizations but it lacks the ability to render complex animations in short time. But it's mainly because of the way it works and maybe it will never be changed, it's Keymaster's decision. ;)

I don't know Russian but I pasted it into google translator and it looks like you described basic features pretty well. Hope it will be helpful for new coronauts.
It's not a bad idea to make some local documentations and spread the love. I'll think about it.

And I'm waiting for продолжение следует. ;)

This documentation is old an  should probably be removed.

Nicely done but:

-some of M&Ms are penetrating each other or the glass
-there is a distance between M&Ms and the bottom of the glass
-bump on wood is too strong for furniture OR too shiny for a random plank

In current version, best way to produce nice caustics from glass is using VCM or bidirectional path tracing.

I'm not sure if you changed materials, lighting or post processing but I think golden elements look better on the old renders. Now it has slight plastic feeling, but still the whole interior looks great. :)

When I see such strong chromatic aberration, I wonder: what is the point of this image? If it's supposed to be just a photo-like shot of an engine (not sure what this device is), then this chromatic aberration is too strong, because you rarely find it in modern cameras. If it's supposed to be a product viz for CAT, the it's too strong because it doesn't match the modern technology and looks just strange. If it's purpose is to show your post processing skills, then it's also too strong. No offence intended, I am not questioning your skills (I would probably never do such nice model and texturing), just rating the image.

Flameimage, maybe it's a matter of taste but I like the original one more. In the one you uploaded, post processing is just too obvious and aggressive. It's not bad but Sergio's renders have natural, warm feeling.

Chromatic aberration makes them look like shots from a cheap point and shoot camera. ;)
