thanks for the quick answer... well this happens in multiple scenes, and i can't notice when it stops, since it's random and gives no error message or anything.
Before the ram upgrade. I'd get the corona error related to the ram, but since then I get no message but the render still stops.. even with ram at 40%.

Hi everyone, lately my corona is stoping the render all in a sudden, sometimes it renders for 1h other times 5h... and I haven't set any limits.
I've even upgraded my rams to 64gb, thinking that could be the problem. but still not fixed.

Anyone with similar problem?

im using corona 6.0 Aug 25 2020

my c4d is the r18 version. using windows 10.

Hi guys.. long time haven't post anything... any criticism is welcome.
would like to have some technical advices.. maybe I'm doing something wrong that id like to correct to improve my quality.

was going to post this exact request... i think something like they have at max would be good.. but this would be just perfect... at max they have the material override settings, where you can choose the type of material to override (displacement, ligths,glass, portals.. ) I think they should port this feature to c4d too... since it's so hard to do a complete clay render..

@beanzvision thats exactly the problem. as stated before on my bug report.

The problem is that most of time the Corona Shared Shader is generated automaticaly. is there any schedule to fix that issue? At least for me makes a huge difference.

Just one doubt guys, i've already posted this issue before. Just wondering if this is a particular case, or everyone else has the same issue.

After working with "Node Edited Materials" I can only preview them rendering directly to the VFB or IR . If I render directly in the viewport. the texture simply disappears and renders black.

Is this a known issue.. will it be fixed? ... since I use node editor a lot. It's a flaw on my workflow.

Hi, after some jobs, I can conclude that .ies won't render when using a renderfarm.

I've been using animarender, and even copying the .ies direct to the folder won't solve.. the problem is It needs a direct path.. not just a partial one.

Anyone with same problem.. any solution? Because I did a lot tests.. and none of them with sucess.

Hi, after start using the v3 , iv started to have a weird bug, ill try to describe it the best I can:

Everytime I create a shader using the node editor. when there is a "corona shared" material.. it simply renders black on the viewport.

I replicated same error on the scene i've atached.

here is an example of what happens:


Im using c4d r18 with corona v3 hotfix 1, under win10.

anyone else having problems with cameras on last daily version?.. getting much more zoom/crop than before... more than what I set on the viewport. just downgraded to the version before this one and it's working as it should.
