A thread for various images, experiments and lighting studies. I use Corona with Cinema 4D and am not an architect :)
First image: 09.18.17 Lighting study. Pens model provided by dimensiva.com

Another lighting study: Florescent tubes

09.27 Corona Render. Suburban Luminous Tactical Vehicle No. 2: Audi Q7. Audi model provided by free3d.com and textured and modified by me.
-
Some older work (reorganizing hard drives over here). Corona is easily my favorite engine. I do a lot of Octane work, but nothing beats the look and ease of Corona.
Edison Light bulb model by Fabiovalle3D via Turbosquid.

06.01 Corona Render. Colacus Bicolor scan by Thomas Flynn

David Lynch would be proud of that last render. ;)

First real attempts at Arch Viz - I'm a theater/concert designer. So much to learn - so hard to get it feeling right.
Furniture models by Dimensiva.com, Turbosquid, Fritz Hansen, and model+model.com.

Busy few weeks. 11.10 Corona Render. More architectural lighting practice. AC Cobra 269 model provided by Bruckner Alexander. I modeled the rest based on the Perez Art Museum by Herzog & de Meuron. Artwork by Mark Rothko, Carroll Shelby, and Robert Longo.
-
Here's some of the latest work.
Lotus Model via Turbosquid. GT5 Space hunter model by Herminio Nieves. Recon Flyer model by Herminio Nieves.
-
Cool vibe and colors. How did you do the crowd?
-
Thanks! The crowd is made up of 8 different Adobe Fuse models, posed in Mixamo. I'm using a cloner in Cinema4d in object mode set to surface (after making a hidden layout polygon guide). The cloner is targeted to look and face where I want with a hidden null. They are textured with just a reflective black material, slightly blurry. I overlay a real crowd photo in photoshop and set its blending mode to Color at a low opacity to get some variation in there.

Ok cool. thanks for explaining.
-
Those spacecraft renders reminds me latest wolfenstain game for some reason :] Good job!

Here's some more recent work. All Corona and Cinema4D.

Awesome stuff, I especially liked the robot guy, and that one stretching on the chair. That could be an awesome addition to some high-profile archviz. :)
-
Thank you Maru!
-
More work for Corona with Cinema 4D.
04_14: Beautiful photo scan of the Crystal Palace Cinema Projection room from Simon Che de Boer & Miguel Bandera
04_23: Scout model provided by Herminio Nieves

More lighting and shader practice.

Poor doggie!
Those sketch-like are actually pretty interesting, but I wonder how much is directly out of Corona, and how much is further post.

Spoiler alert: the dog lives!
I don't have the raw render file with me here, but I have a clay shot of what was actual geo. It is massively over painted, but the initial layout and lighting is key.
-
Some more recent stuff.
-
Been focusing on Modeling mostly lately. Working on Hard surface modeling (Vectorworks to Cinema4D) like the Lightsaber and Sub-D as well (beetles). All rendered with Corona for Cinema 4D. Fish tosser was just some lighting setup work.
-
What's up with the fish throwing? :D
I like the bugs!
-
Ha - I have no idea.
Thanks - here's one more bug I made.
-
Working on Hard surface modeling. I modeled in Vectorworks and rendered with Corona for Cinema 4d.
Gundam was just lighting practice : model provided by Kunatee via sketchfab.
-
Wooow man!
i think the Pens model need some turposmooth :)
Very awesom renders
-
Yes, those pens could use some smoothing for sure.
Haven't posted in a while - here is another random dump of R&D. All Corona and Cinema 4d. Hard surface modeling in Vectorworks.
-
A few more. Modeling in Vectorworks. Rendered in Cinema. 4D with Corona, of course.
