Nice images.

I checked out the link, it's all very nicely presented but after scrolling through it numerous times I have NO idea what it does, or how it does it... it's intriguing nonetheless but more actual information might sell the product/service (???) better.

Good luck with it mate.

Hi! Thanks for the reply :)

I did visit the website, that's sort of what I was commenting on...

While it all looks intriguing and I have a very vague idea of what it is being sold, I still have NO idea how it works, or what it does...

I purchased one today during their flash sale. It's basically a well organized and already setup Forest Pack object.

Ha indeed maybe not clear from the start what the product actually is but it is presented in a really cool design.

@Nouvelle Mesure, I'm very curious about this project and I have reviewed the website. Where can we *watch* tutorials showing how this asset is used?

@John.McWaters, what are your thoughts after having purchased the asset?

To answer my own question, it is basically a prefab of a Forest Pack object using a collection of proprietary assets and organized into 'system layers'; this structure circumvents one of the major drawbacks of FP, namely the inability to uniquely control scattering density on a per object basis without creating another (separate) FP object. This prefab is organized into a single FP object.

Sorry I just saw this. I agree with your comment above. I think their website makes it look a lot more technical than it really is, but I can still find it useful. I just bought it, so I haven't really had a chance to implement it yet.

One of the most time consuming parts of rendering for me is setting up scatters around the landscape and making them look realistic. Hopefully these will cut down on that time.
