I like the water test! Which tools were used to simulate it?

Thanks.  Simulated with Maya Bifrost

Cool! What's the process for getting that simulation in and rendered using Corona? OpenVDB? Any magic to the material settings once imported? Or is it a compositing of a render from Maya with a render from Corona? Cheers!

I exported water and foam as alembic from maya, this material is just for testing not finished. I combined two material with layered material, base material is volume material and layer 1 has standart water material. Also my English is not perfect, if i write wrong somethings sorry  for that. :)

TY for the info, cool to know how you are creating it, thank you for sharing! Also, it is looking good already, especially if just a test :)

That water is really great! I'd like to see it in higher resolution and better quality.
I don't think mixing two materials with layered mtl is needed. Creating one water material with volumetrics should be enough, and it should render faster.

Thank you! New items added to back of truck and added little dynamics. And i gonna give a trick for importing alembic to 3dsmax. while you working at 25 fps if import an alembic file from maya then you will see it's fps not matcing with your animations. I found a solution; before importing alembic file i set fps to 30 from settings in 3dsmax, then i import alembic and then convert to 25 fps again, and problem solved.

I changed foliage and added new assets but we are having ram issue right now, I don't add the water and displacement but still not enough memory I will do some memory optimization and upgrade my memory to 32gb for better looking next month.

Foliage still needs to be adjust, i added water but render took very long time... because of memory, next week I'm upgrading my memory, we will add 1 more car and more camera animation.

Reptile close up, we don't have displacement yet... and maybe we will change wooden log its looks weird..

All is looking pretty nice!

A question - why not sim the water directly in Max? It has Bifrost (even a fluid loader) that way you avoid bringing huge alembic files back and forth.

We don't like the sunny weather and added some fog... and I changed the foliage like a 10th time... we are working on other vehicle and some animations...

Man these are really awesome, its fun keeping track of the progress here :) Thanks for sharing!

From a subjective point of view, I personally kind of liked the previous foliage a bit more. This one seems more like the usual foliage you see in similar images with a heavy terrain vehicle. Could be just me though and no disrespect to the foliage :P ... Anyway, liking the work!

Sorry for long time not doing any update, we have been busy with other things but we added some interesting stuffs to our project.

Now I'm adding second car animation test render, its include reptile animation and some rbd simulation.

I kinda like the invisible source of the water movement :) Most likely a Predator vehicle, or maybe Klingon, those dang cloaking devices!
