Hi all,

I didn't put this under bug section because I don't know if Corona is to blame for the issue - I'm also posting on the 3DS Max forum.

I've had Max crashes randomly for the last week.

It happens when changing to a different frame.  I've got some things animated but that's nothing unusual.

My colleague has also had similar crashes a few times.

This all started mid last week.

We do thankfully get the option to save a restore scene.

We haven't updated anything recently so nothing like that would have caused it.

Has anyone had this before?

Thanks

Hi,

I never had this issue.
Did you inspect Corona logs? 3ds Max logs? They could help:

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2023 - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg\corona
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\202x - 64bit\ENU\Network

Hi,

Feel free to send us the scene with the repro by starting a ticket here: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

We can always check if there are any fix we can do at our side or if it's a 3ds Max related bug, we can also forward it to the Autodesk team.

PS: don't forget to include the minidump file.
