Hi Team Corona,

When I use the interactive renderer objects are missing/not visible. I have to keep switching them on and off and have lots of them missing. Renders fine in final output but I'm tweaking lights and it is taking a long time having to send them as full renders. Is this a fix or should I go back to a previous version?

Hello,
I have the same problem. After running the IPR, some elements of the scene are not visible in the rendering window.

Hi,

Think I might go back one release and wait for a while...

We'd need to know what kind of objects are not rendering (best if you could send in the scene, e.g. via private uploader, and maybe a video or at least some still grabs showing which objects don't render in IR but show up in final).

yep

is it an old scene? could it get investigated?
wouldn't wanna hit the same hurdle further on...

t'is the reason to never forget - "don't switch in a middle of a project"
- so when you do and  get a "crasher", first thing is to copy/paste whole set into a new scene
- if still crashing, start stripping down 'new & updated' features/elements until  getting it to behave

 ;)

Hi,

Just done a bit of digging into the scene and discovered it is the materials on the walls. As soon as I removed them it works ok (see highlighted door wall). I have a big problem though. I have invested heavily in pre-built materials from different vendors and use these all the time as I don't have the time on projects to create them so rely on these pretty much for all my work. Is there a fix on this or would I have to revert to a older version for now? Hope this helps :-) John

Hello,

it looks to me that the displacement in the various materials is the culprit (disabling it for various materials removes this issue). I will pass it to the developers, in the meantime, feel free to use viewport interactive, in which I dont seem to encounter the issue.

Thanks,
Jan

Hi Jan,

Thanks for this and hopefully it will be sorted. I am rendering the final visuals now and they are ok. John :-)
