 Also it would be great to have Volume Fog Height option to set, because now there is no option to limit fog in height. Applying Volume Mtl to A box with limited height does not work, corona does not render fog correctly. But when camera is outside of the box it is rendering correct. It was in roadmap i think but disapeared called- better determining inside/outside medium

Corona renders incorect fog, when a box is created, camera placed in it, and volume material applied to that box . Maybe it is called incorrect inside outside medium volume determining?
Will this be fixed in future releases? In vray we have option to select gizmo shape. Also it would be great to have Volume Fo g Height option to set, because now there is no option to limit fog in height.
It was planned for 1.7 release Better determining inside/outside medium.

1.Angle dependent material glossiness. (Vray Material Glossy Fresnel option)
2. Dynamic and Auto memory limit. To Have option to limit RAM usage on machines with less than 32gb ram. It will make starting slower but renderer will not run out of memory. Maybe You Can Even improve this feature to be better than in vray.

so why corona scene takes 3 times longer to load than same vray scene?

all my maps are in project sceneassets images folders. so its not the case. there should be another reason.

long scene loading while opening in 3ds max. why is that? in vray scene loads faster. if i look into windows task manager, 3ds max memory grows very slow.

yes i am sure geometry consumes a lot of geometry. laubwerk plugin uses a lot memory. in vray i have to switch from static to dynamic geometry with memory limit to be able to render scene with laubwerk.

anyway, it is a must to have option to set dynamic geometry and memory usage limit in corona. i also can not use corona for big exterior projects, because corona eats all my ram and crashes. there are no big textures in my projects, an i use only few render elements.

it would be nice to hear Ondra's opinion about this problem, and will it be solved soon.

I would llike to request Dispersion (refractive abberation) feature in Corona. When it is going to be implemented ? Is it hard to implement? Two yeqars after, and still this feature is not done.

i am not sure if anyone already posted that request, but is it possible to implement in Corona dynamic geometry ram memory usage limit ( as in vray it is done) ? now we have only static mode - that loads all geometry and other stuff at once before renderin, am i right?

also i noteced that after corona rendering is done, corona does not clean used memmory well. and i need to restart 3ds max to have less ram used by 3ds max.
when i start my project 3ds max uses 8gb ram, after rendering is done - it uses 16gb ram. at rendering time it uses 31.5gb ram. is it possible to make corona clean memory after rendering? or is there workaround to solve this problem? how to clean memory after rendering?

i would like to request implementation of better memory management for pc with limited ram amount.
it is common problem when there is not enought memory when renderign with corona ; even with 32gb ram. now there is no option to tell corona not to use all available ram.
in this case cpu usage drops, because corona starts caching to disk, when memory not enough.
in my experience corona 1.5 uses almost all available ram (displacement turned off), and crashes (total pc 31.6gb ram of 32gb ram).i have read same experience on russian forum, that corona uses way more ram than vray.
it would be great to have option to set limit for ram memory corona to use ( as it is done in vray- dynamic geometry ; and low memory embree checkbox), so that computer does not run out of memory.
this option should make corona load information on rendering time, not at one before rendering.

still i am not using corona on daily basis, because of this memory management problem. because i dont know if corona renders my project fine, or it runs out of all my memory and crashes.

gmsvision, can you describe how did you used different environment hdri backgrounds and lightning?  the images were done completely in corona framebuffer with light mix, did you use photoshop to shancge background? as i know we can use only one hdri lightning, and change its intensity and white balace? corona video tutorial shows how to change one background - intensity, color balance.

very slow multiscatter parsing with many instances comparing to vray / 2-3 times slower
 i tested scene with 5000 000 grass instances. 25 sec corona waits for something and does nothing, parsing starts at 28 sec.
 it takes 40-50 seconds to start rendering in corona. comparing to corona scatter - it takes 10 seconds. vray starts rendering after 20-25 seconds.

 is there a way to speed up parsing using multiscatter? or it could be improved in future corona versions?
