Thx belly, I'll give it a try right now. I do have the denoiser on, i'll swithc it off
PROH, it can be my last resort ;)
So how did you go with it in the end? blowup in PS? or regions and stitching?

As I'm still forced to use Maxwell once in a while I've grown into the habit of up-scaling with On1's Resize. It does a very good job most of the time, saving me from hours of rendering.

Can something like that be implemented into Corona?

Makes me wonder aswell: How does Corona handle the 3dsMax Framebuffer? With V-Ray it was always advised to set it to some low resolution to avoid 3dsMax reserving too much Ram.

Was not able to render in one shot, did 8 fragments(using crop in 3ds max), attached in PS later.

Backburner has a stripe render option. It will render in stripes and attach automatically.
