Hello, I am fairly new to Corona but have in spite of this achieved some decent quality images. When I today updated to version 1.2.1, my old scenes (created in  earlier versions of Corona) now show strange behavior. The scenes now render as normal up to a width of 200 pixels,

but larger than this they appear as contrasty black and white images. This occurs regardless of if DR is on or off.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you, best regards Knut PS. 3D Studio MAX 2015

Hi, which version of Corona did you previously use (when the scenes were last saved)? Does anything show up if you increase exposure in that contrasty black and white thing?

Hi, I was previously using version 1.1.1 - nothing shows up when I increase the exposure (the image looks like an alpha channel). Thanks, K

What kind of lighting are you using? Have you tried using the converter script to convert Corona into Corona? :)

There is also a new build, you can check if it helps: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000570015

Thanks, I am using the latest build of the Corona Converter script. There are 1 daylight system (Corona sun and Corona sky) plus 3 Corona lights (sphere) in the scene. These files rendered perfectly in 1.1.1 (and in low resolution in 1.2.1.) I will try to import the objects in the different scenes in to  fresh scenes. Best regards, Knut

I had the same issue where after a few passes using DB rendering + displacement and it would end up black.
Displacement was using the modifier but then I switched to using displacement on the actual material.
Switched  back to 1.1 to finish the project and there was no issue.

Just updated to 1.2.1 and tried the corona converter on the old scene and that seems to have fixed my issue :)
