steps:
open clear max and material editor
open material library from other max file with project and geometry
merge any material from this library to material editor
instantly you get a piece of geometry from another scene into you clean open max in layer with
with a layer name addition "_Recovered"
is very difficult when you want to get material from another project
i think it has something to do with materials containing connections like Corona Distance map

Big problem for big projects/
1.create a new scene in 3dmax/
2.create lights in instance mode in the amount of about 3000.
after that 3max viewport starts freezing, lagging all time/ deleting, hiding and moving of several lights takes an infinite amount of time/
with the addition of light sources, the problem increases.
the scene almost becomes unedited.
Please solve this problem as soon as possible
it becomes completely impossible to work on large projects.

copying material from a scene to another scene also transfers geometry from old scene/
and this applies not only to materials with /Distance map, AO or other materials with /Exclude-Include/ selection sets and
and does not depend at /Parent selection or select unfluences option in 3dmax/
thus when transferring materials
sometimes you have to clean a new scene from unnecessary geometry, and sometimes it is very difficult to determine which layer this geometry comes to.
very inconvenient and very interfering with work with complex scenes/
it all started somewhere with version 6 .

Why still absent in corona cam mod option for LUT switching and tuning as present in Corona Camera and VFB.
very uncomfortable.

Corona CESSENTIAL_Indirect and CShading_Shadows elements always very much noisy than the rest elements-- even with default Corona material and default Lighting settings as white color Corona environment and
we can't get a clear result even with 1%-0.5% noise limit and with Corona High Quality Denoise Filter.
This elements are very necessary for compositing in some cases, and now it’s impossible to use them in any way.
This problem in all Corona version's from 3 to 4 last releases:)
We never had such a problem in Vray render/

Hi Guys
In exclude/include light properties of Corona light include/exclude shadow casting and both properties not active at all/
it should be so because it is physically correct ?:)

while working on the last project I discovered that the file is stored incredibly long with a completely light geometry.

the file size is completely normal and I used all available methods and scripts to clean the scene from
Reactor collisions/Note tracks and etc.
but did not assume that the problem may be in the materials and corona bitmap :))
saving file with regular bitmap 1-2 sec.
saving file with Corona bitmap 40 sec !!!! :)
Simple test with Corona Converter:)))

How i can to scale one instanced object /Corona proxy/  in Corona Scatter now.
Before some changing in Corona scatter system in last Corona releases it impossible via scaling basic instance model/
