The test scene, and minidump from the freeze, uploaded to https://corona-renderer.com/upload, with information on what file format you are saving to - and a new thread or ticket please, as this general thread is not a good place to find and reply to you :) https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000524006-how-to-report-issues-3ds-max

Cheers!

I removed the DB4 22-02 and install ver. 3 Corona...

The same scene works fine! Saved normally with the Bloom and Glare enable!

I tested on another machine with Win10, DB4 22-02 worked fine!

Will it be incompatible with the Win 7?
Someone using DB4 22-02 in Win 7, and saving with Bloom&Glare ok?

Hi,

I have tested this with Windows 7, Max 2016 and the daily build from Feb 22nd 2019 and it is working okay for me.

Did you submit a support ticket as Tom suggested above?

Thanks,

Rowan

First to know if there might be some problem with my operational system. :(

You click on the Pick button, then you can left click in the VFB to select the object in the scene, or you can right click to set Camera DOF focus to that object.

I wonder if someone is using the Pick button in VFB. I remember there was so much crying in requesting similar feature, yet no one is providing any feedback since its implementation :]

i reckon a lot of people/studios have seen the thread comments here about serious crashes in v4 DB and chosen not to trial the DB in the first place - that would be one guess as to why you've not heard much feedback about these new tools.

I saw it by accident 2 days ago and picked a few things I didn't have any problems....maybe people don't know about it...

The real gem is RMB -> "Set focus to this object" while having pick mode active. Finally we can abandon the Autofocus script created by DeadClown :). It's amazing how fast you can setup DOF for a bunch of shots distributed on frames with active Auto Key and/or IR.

But I would recommend renaming "Set focus to this object" to "Set focus to this point" otherwise it may be confused with the object override which CoronaCam provides (and which works differently).

Good Luck

Never underestimate the power of a well placed level one spell.

"Set focus to this point" may lead to impression that focus will be set to a point on object's surface, while actually it is set to selected object's pivot.
