While image is being denoised nodes are spaming aditional parts of the image.

And this is what happens in the end.

Most probably nodes must dump all data before the denoising is done.

same problem here, much noise in some areas especially shadows, with DR, even after 600 samples. if you render without DR and turn denoise off it is clean after a few samples.

Seems that the problem wtih sinchronisation is still there but works in some other way.

i will duplicate it here too.

How it happens now. Render finishes - Denoise starting - retiving remainig data from render nodes - retiving finishes - denoise finishes. Result dark areas.

How it might happen to prevent it. Disable aditional retiving at the render end at all. Or Render finishes - retiving aditional data - retiving finished - denoising started.

Yup, denoising should be applied only after everything is gathered from the nodes. If it's different, then it's a bug.

Yes i love how the car looks now but the very first version of the lithings was waaaaaaaay better. Chek this out.
