No, you're not alone ;)
And in colors image (not B/W), it works worse. But, IMHO I prefer to work with photoshop for the post, so actually I don't consider this a limit or a problem,  I simply don't use it ;)
Of course, if the next release of FB will works better, also a little bit of contrast setting could help our images!

Last shot with Corona. One night time for render, you can read info on the image, bottom right.

Gallery / High res test
« on: 2013-05-06, 11:49:47 »
These two have a little post. We've tried an high res images, the ws has been working during the week end. We notice a little too much indirect light distribution having a lot of passes, we are playing with some Corona render parameters to find a good setup for this.
But, we like it ;)

Want to share with you some test we are having with our old scene, converting materials with the script (thanks man!!!) and adjusting some of them a little.

One more time, I love the way you can feel the light in Corona renders.

Actually, we often move down the horizon line, so we can see more sky and less ground, otherwise through the windows you see a color change under the horizon.

Thanks a lot for sharing this, the set you've prepared is cool, the image is too cool!! :)

Using CoronaSky map we can't move horizon vertical position (or it's me??).
We find this useful.

[Max] Resolved Feature Requests / Camera shift-tilt
« on: 2013-05-03, 10:06:04 »
I find Corona very useful for photographic renders. In photography often we use to vertically or horizontally shift the camera to have the view we need. It should be great to have this capability in the camera modifier of Corona.

But it would be most useful to have an estimate how many people would be willing for example to buy a licence now for discounted price.

+1 for 2 ws and some nodes.

I know :) But an installer will give more professional !"look" to corona ;-) Just a suggestion.

I think it is better if Ondra spend his time to improve the sw than to prepare an installer.

Ondra, there are about 2500 members in this forum. How many active users? How many of us are using Corona for production?
I'm starting using Corona for production render, at my risk, because if you decide to stop the develope I loose a lot of time!!! but I want to trust in you. And if I produce money with my work using your sw, I think it is correct to help you also if the release is not commercial.
About your business plan, I think it should be so useful for us to know how much money will you need to go on with your project for the next 2 years, because I think that if you ask us to contribute with a donation to help you, a lot of us will do it.
Just for example, if you ask me to pay a fee to be part of the alpha and beta testing, having the opportunity to use your Corona, and having a licence at the end of the development, or better, to be a part of a large international company, of course I'll send you the money right now! Maybe not all 2500 users are thinking like me, but I think a lot of them would like to help you in this, and a lot of fee could become a great way to finance your sw development.... if an half of us will contribute with (just to say) 50 or 100 euro....
So, +1 for me, anyone else with me?!?!
