Hello,
I'm trying to add a CoronaDistance object for asphalt texture (grey) - a spline that simply is a path for RailClone object and I get the dependency loop error. How do I fix/bypass this? The spline is unrelated to the asphalt material and even if I create a copy it still throws the error.

I'm not sure but some include/exclude dialogs in Corona also include the hierarchy linked to a mesh. If your mesh is part of any hierarchy (is a parent or child) try to unlink it first and see if that helps. Might also be that the Railclone object that uses the path creates the dependency loop, in that case you'd need to copy it and use the copy as the distance object.

Also, if the path object uses the material the distance map is used in, that will throw an error too.

Check if the RailClone object or any objects linked to it are causing the dependency loop. If this is the case, try creating a copy of the RailClone object and use the copy as the distance object but as you mentioned creating a copy of the spline, but if the copy is still causing the error, double-check that the copy is entirely independent and not sharing any unexpected linking.
