Hi, can anyone share their common settings? I'm looking for the best Render Setup in C4D.

Any notes on Material speedups.

I would love to see Rawalanche benchmark scene ported to C4d.

A bit of a work around

Double click the material preview.  Click EDITOR & PREVIEW ->Find the Use original Cinema4d scene section. Select the box then unselect the box!!!

It should show the correct colours now.

Plugins->Corona->sky. Throw a texture onto the sky object
Standard C4d materials is through the Luminance channel
Corona materials is through the Diffuse channel.

Hey carloslogg,
If you do find a solution for the "show shaded material in viewport" issue. Please post.  Its also driving me crazy - I can't get along without it! :(

Can I ask if you are still having issues with your dual Xeon?
