Hi guys, wondering if i'm the only that can't see any texture on the viewport while using chaos scans.
no matter what kind of scan I use.. I've no visual feedback.. and would be great, to check the scale at least.

another question to the devs team, will we have the auto adjust feature, like the "3dmaxians" have? :)

thanks in advance.

Hi there, can you share a screenshot of what you're getting to help us understand this better?

sure.. here it is.. has you can see the 2 spheres have 2 different materials applied.. this ones are legacy corona materials.. the chair has wood in the legs and fabric on the fabrics... and there's no visual feedback to any of them.

im using corona 9 on win10.

It still a bit hard to tell what might be going on here. Does the scanned material work on a sphere? It might be best to start a support ticket so we can investigate further.

when you create a scanned material. can you see it applied? can you check the color.. the scale?.. any scanned material that I apply, shows like a default material.

Hi, If we're talking about the default viewport preview, yes, a grey material is expected. We hope to change this in the near future however.

exactly.. thats my problem.

well kinda makes my workflow a bit slower.. have to use default materials and replace them later.. and to check the scale, have to render everytime.. but oh well.. I will wait for any update in that matter :)

thanks in advance.

Yes, it would be nice to have some feedback in the viewport, but isn't that what interactive rendering is for? Also, make sure you have good UVs on your models, or the Scanned materials get tricky to use.
