[solved] Black splotch/ patch

When I placed a CoronaLight under the ceiling as a spotlight it lights the scene properly, but it also creates a black patch just above the CoronaLight on the ceiling above. Can be visible in the attached image.
I am using Corona 6. Have lit the scene with HDRI.
Can anyone help ?

Try to uncheck "occlude other lights" under visibility.
