Keymaster: hijacking the original thread to write down the bug: volumetric scattering ignores light include/Exclude property

Original post:
-----------------------------------

i found some strange bugs in corona light. check the attached screenshots and the scene.
- direct visibility: only 3d shape (sphere & cylinder) is visible in 35deg angle view when "visible directly" checked.
- include/exclude: "include" is work well, but "exclude" doesn't make any difference.

It's not bug. Your lights directionality is higher than 0, so at some values and angles, you won't be able to see light source directly.

ah thanx romullus, I didn't checked for similar thread about corona light visibility with directional value / angles. I should check before post a thread. :)
what about the "include/exclude"? is there some normal behavior I didn't realize?

Include/exclude - I believe this is just a temporary window.

temporary window? did you mean that this is just a temporary feature that will be discontinued in the future or just an already known bug?

ok, I found the problem - volumetric scattering currently ignores light include/exclude. Will fix later

Any change to add this exclude functionality to Corona Render engine?

Would be handy to hide fill lights in a scene.
