don't say "upgrade upgrade you need to upgrade, newer is better just because it's newer", or "everyone is switched to new versions for a long time ago, and nobody needs it", just make, or don't make, haha

It's not about newer is better (usually it is but that's not the point). The point is you can't expect a company or a developer to support such an old platform. It costs a lot of money to maintain and test a plugin version and doing it for less than a handful of people on something that is probably not supporting half of the stuff Corona is based on is simply not realistic.
