I just posted another thread on this with lots of examples to help with diagnosing.

https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,9336.0.html

For me this is a very major issue since the bug is very bad visually on common projects and the workarounds cause incorrect/inaccurate results and also serve to overcomplicate scene management. I would hope this could be pushed high up your priority list if possible!

Agree a lot. I have issue with this in every single project, because every architectural sample has the same features, lots of stuff behind glass :- )

Guys, I made a short video about 2 possible workarounds for this problem. https://www.dropbox.com/s/nm6bglxi1lh77wz/light-glass-bug.7z?dl=0
Sorry it's so chaotic, it was made in a hurry. ;)

I just roll with thin glass for interiors, then switch to regular when outside, just have to remember to turn it correctly before final render :- )

Thanks for the video. I think this rayswitching technique is probably an overcomplicated workaround and simply using thin mode for windows and thick mode for objects is the way to go. A lot easier.

I know you previously mentioned 1.5 or even 2.0 for a fix to this but do you have a more up-to-date projection? I hope this is fairly high up on your priority list.

Yes, it does. It is a light transport issue described here along with some other ones - https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000516180-known-bugs-and-limitations
We would love to fix this, but it will be very hard.
