Using vrscans materials in a backburner network render always results in pure black faces without any texture on the render nodes.
(A backburner network render on the local workstation renders fine)
Using the "include maps" option when submitting the render results in pure black.
Making a copy of the vrscan material to the max/maps directory on the node also results in pure black.

Using 3dsMax 2022 and Corona 9

[Max] I need help! / Data decompression (zlib) failed
« on: 2018-02-24, 21:41:43 »
This is an error I get sometimes when I try to open an Corona CXR in the Corona Image Editor:
"Error reading pixel data from image file "...". Data decompression (zlib) failed.
It happens at random. Sometimes I render 6 images from the same scene and just one is corrupt. And when I re-render the file with the same settings, there is no error.

I am at the point I no longer dare to render images overnight in CXR format.

Is this a known problem?

[Max] I need help! / Normal map issue in 3dsMax 2018
« on: 2018-02-20, 16:51:26 »
I am switching from 3dsMax 2017 to 2018 and have problems with the "normal map incorrect gamma" issue:

When I start a new drawing in 2018 and then merge an asset (error free) saved in 2017, I get the "normal map incorrect gamma" warning on some objects. Running the Corona Convertor to fix the problem doesn't help.
This happens only when I merge the 2017 scene in a new 2018 scene.
When I open the asset scene directly in 2018, there is no problem.
When I open a random 2017 scene (even an new empty one) in 2018 and then merge that same asset, there is no problem either.

The gamma setting in the "preferences" are the same in both versions of 3dsMax.
I don't know where else to look?
