Hi , i just installed new hotfix 2 for some reason and now i got problems with lightmix denoizing , it just do nothing , but beauty pass denoise is fine. All lightselect element have denoise checked.
And it looks like corona renders much longer and noise is there even after 300passes. Tested on the same scene that worked fine on previous hotfix.
Is it just a coincidence or a bug?
same for max 2018 and 2020

Best post a comparison of a render in hotfix 1 vs hotfix 2 that shows a problem, include an example scene if you can, and make sure to post in the bug section. If there's a problem it actually should be fixed asap.

Thing is, there was no change in hotfix 2, other than support for Max 2020. As noted, example renders and scene would be needed in this case.

I have a stupid question.
does denoise work on Rest layer in lightmix by default?
I just realised that all noise comes from rest layer.
OMG is that worked like that all along?I dont think so!

Yes, the Rest (unassigned) layer could never be denoised previously. The ability to denoise it was only added in Corona 4, so is in the daily builds. Same with denoising being enabled by default for LightSelects, that's new in the daily builds too.
