Hello,

I recently started using Corona in Cinema 4D. One thing I am missing is the ability to export texture masks of layered materials as AOV's. With Redshift this can be done with custom AOV's. Both using Corona layered materials and the C4D way of stacking materials does not output a material ID mask for me.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Joost

Hi, have you tried Multi-Pass with Object buffer ID Mask passes? Look at the attached picture. Let me know if this is what you want and if everything is clear...

Thanks for the prompt reply. I am however not looking for object masks but material masks. The object I am rendering is a product with 2 kinds of materials that are layered. Both materials should become visible as an AOV.

Oh, I understand now. I'm afraid that's not possible. Or at least not that I know of. Form what I tried now, each material stack will have one material ID regardless of e.g. the opacity of the top material in the stack.
