New project up on the ol' Behance and of course Insta (links below).

This was an exciting project to work on as I have had the chance to use a lot of the materials scanned in the studio such as the fabrics for the furniture and curtains and stone used for the side table and decorative props.

I also checked out your website..!. Your portfolio has an exceptional photographic quality to it, very impressive.

Thank you mferster! Much appreciated, I'm glad that you enjoy the resulting visuals.

Really noooiice job, Eduard, unsurprisingly so.  Can you share any insight about carpet? CoronaHair mtl? HairAndFur or Forest pack?

Thank you LuckyFox! The carpet is generated by a single fiber with tiny hairs scattered over it and it is being distributed by Forest Pack. The material input in FPack is a simple Corona Material with a Forest Color in the Diffuse. I hope that helps and let me know if you need other info!

The cushion, rug and fire materials are incredible! Some of the best I've seen.

Can you share a bit more about them?

Thanks
Thank you agentdark45! I do tend to spend a lot of time on cushions, their folds and various styles and have modeled quite a few of them throughout the time. It always helps to create your own assets and library that you know works perfectly. Many of the models you can find around are always almost good but never perfect and I also enjoy the process of creating sometihing that I know has the standard of quality that I need. The fire had to be accurate and it was based on the client's product so I was provided with an image from which I then had to cut out the actual fire. I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi everyone, long time no post on here but let me make it up with a project recently completed.

The following is a scene created to showcase a luxury fireplace designed by a London based company.

Cheers,
Eduard

Lovely visuals arkinyildiz. I agree with Juraj with regards to the lens flares, I am noticing in my visuals as well that I am always drawn to blow them a bit out of proportion and have to bring myself in check every time. They are very fun to play with but you have to be careful not to use them in an excessive manner. I think they're becoming an element similar to the the chromatic aberrations (which I've stopped using altogether) in that  it's very easy to abuse them.

Concerning what cecofuli said I highly recommend installing SoulburnScripts created by Neil Blevins since there is a lovely little script that randomizes a whole bunch of parameters such as scale, rotation, translation etc.

Great renders nonetheless!

Whell, I'll be damned. Not surprising to be honest, Corona was always destined for greatness :)

It's so realistic it's a bit scary. Looks totally like the real thing. Must be a great decoration!

At first I thought it's this one and was about to ask where the "hairs" are:

Thanks Maru, glad you like it. Apparently that specific dry plant is called a cotton pod. Just found out myself.

Thanks TomG, I definitely agree. I gotta say its scent is really good, would make for a great 4D experience : )

Long time no post, sorry about that. Just wanted to share with you guys some assets that I've been working on for decorative use throughout my scenes. This is one of many elements that I'm creating for a potpourri bowl and it involves the use of Agisoft Photoscan, Zbrush, 3DS Max and of course Corona. Will keep this topic updated with new assets that I'm adding to the collection.

Cheers

Edit:
Here's one more 3D Scan of these dry cotton pods, this time on off white. Hope you enjoy them as I'm finishing them one by one.

Oh my god, you are incredible talent Eduard, it is absolutely amazing to what detail, photorealism and beauty you tighten every aspect of renderings. I am getting strong feeling that 3D artists based in UK are so good hah! Would you mind sharing your basic workflow? I mean mainly creating lighting (on white model first?), tweaking materials (first using hdri preview?).
Keep incredible quality :)

Jakub

Hi Jakub, thank you so much for your words, I'm glad you enjoy them. Actually I am a big fan of your renders too, especially the kitchen with the chromed island, love the lighting and shaders in that one. Well, as far as my lighting workflow goes I mostly use hdris and test them out when I start the scene so yes when everything is still white, after which I slowly start applying materials one by one, usually I start with the floor and larger sized elements. Also, I always try to keep my Exposure in corona at 0 and adjust the HDRI light to the preferred intensity and the same principle applies when I add artificial lights, this way I know the right intensity of every light. And that's about it, I hope that helps, cheers !

Thanks again guys for your comments !
Hey Juraj, yes it's still that client from London (some jobs just keep on dragging on, arghh) . As far as those reflections go I remember that I did tinker with them in Photoshop a bit but I hadn't rendered the still on black, well, sort of, I applied that bitmap in the Direct visibility override slot. I basically didn't want to add the background in Photoshop and add the reflection pass on top of that as I would've gotten some AA issues, I noticed that even perfectly outlined black and white masks don't always give perfect edges and that's why I tend not to use them (on projects that have to be done in a hurry I still use it though ). I will try your method as well to see how it works !
Cheers !

Hi guys, thanks a lot for your comments and glad that you enjoy them.
Image Box Studio International Both of the carpets are simply done with good diffuse and bump maps, no displacement or multiscatter.
hrvojezg00 The exterior is a photo.
sumeetgupta The fabrics are pretty much created in a similar way to the one that I described in this thread (https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,4031.0.html) just changed some settings since they were closer to the camera.
