Hi Maru,

Not that much TBH. I'd rather use a customized UI, with buttons in toolbars and some modifiers set in the Command Panel.

Yes, i'm trying to develop a habbit to use it as often as i can. Why this topic is in feature requests board? Is Corona team thinking about it's own shortcut menu? :]

Nope, it's about adding Corona items to this X menu. The question is, does it make sense when we already have the toolbar?

Probably not much, unless it requires very little effort to do so.

I used to it a lot. Its much quicker then you get used to it, also allows to use "expert mode" with ease.

Never thought about that, might try it some time.

Usually I don`t use it, I even have the "X" mapped to something else

I think it's a great idea. And I try to develop a habit of using it. I like the way you can type commands in AutoCad, just type "xr" and enter and the xref dialog opens. But it simply doesn't work well enough in max.
If I for example want to collapse my selected mesh. I press x, start typing "coll" and I see Collapse highlighted at the top of the list, hit enter. And nothing happens. So probably the search found the wrong collapse function thingy and it didn't work. Some times it shows "collapse stack" and that works. It's hard to form a habit this way.

+1
It makes sense.
This way is the faster and CAD-like users do like everything which reminds on command line!
So, please add this feature.

BTW
If you use ACTIVE TYPE

you can modify and add some shortcuts to your workflow.

It replaced the hide transform gizmo key that I use umpteen times per day so it got removed for me... But yes it's probably worth using it I would think...

Hi, since Corona 6 we will provide toolbar actions in the 'X' menu.
