Hi guys, I'm still a bit new in corona and 3ds max but i'm learning fast and achieving better and better results but i still have some doubts about what is the best machine to use when rendering.

To sum up, what matters most in a computer to render? (processor, gpu, ram etc..) What would be a reasonable machine to achieve good renders and fast? Any tips

Thank you and good work

For Corona the equation is simple. Better CPU = faster rendering. You can compare different CPU models here: https://corona-renderer.com/benchmark/ or you can view other benchmarks, such as this one: http://cpubenchmark.net/
Currently GPU is not used by Corona in any way, but for most host applications' viewports, you need a decent one. The integrated GPUs on the newer processors seem to work pretty well, though. So you might consider getting a CPU with no dedicated GPU, and investing in better GPU later. That is, if you don't want to play any high end games. ;)

RAM is another thing - I would recommend at least 32 GB for rendering heavier interior/exterior scenes. Generally the more RAM, the better.
