Hi,

Does anyone know if its possible to build a dual cpu rig with the new ryzen cpus?

I want to put two 1800x into one machine.

AFAIK that's not possible. You have to wait for Naples (server CPUs based on Zen architecture) for that. Naples should be released sometime in H2 2017.

You can only put two Server type CPUs in one machine. That would be Xeon from Intel, and Opteron from AMD. There are other requirements, so if you're not sure, either do a lot of research, or get someone to plan and build your system for you.

Thanks guys,

I had no clue about amd cpus and how are they ranged.

I have xeons and i7 cpus at home.
