Hey guys,

I have problem with display of built-in 3dsmax maps ( noise, splat etc)

it displays in viewport one way and render the other (in different scale mapping)

34
or look for good texture on site like http://www.textures.com/ (it was cgtextures)
http://www.textures.com/download/bricksmallnew0054/37801

use photoshop to make bump and reflection map ;)

I am very interested in "everyday" situation :)

Juraj thank you very much for sharing your approach to vegetation materials :)

« on: 2015-10-06, 17:53:58 »
Hey,

When you export mesh to proxy using Corona Script (tree object with material)
and then in new file use CProxy -> Load from file, Corona forgets Proxy materials (it uses object color)

Is there anyway to make it work?

39
i must say, in max2014 material editor is very slow (with corona), specially with big scenes, even little change in material freezes 3dsmax for few seconds ;(

40
I must say i love Corona for fast test renders and interactive, large scene test renders on vray 2.4, woah... that was disturbing... :D
When scene is light  use interactive (i.e. lighting setup), if scene is large change resolution to something low like 500x400 :)

Is there any difference in RAM usage between using Corona Scatter for placing proxies and copying them manually?

WoW!!

How much RAM do you have ;) ?

43
Is it me or Corona keeps rendering when you hibernate your PC ?

@Juraj_Talcik

same here :D  when I'm creating something in 3d, 85% of time I'm just rotating and looking at it at diffrent angles :D

, Amazing job, it's big, it's awsome!
