My $800USD HP Z620 arrived today. Looks really tidy - just a couple of scuff marks on the case. Anyway attached is my cinebench score.

Man thats a good value system. Opened my eyes to that and other similar Dell ones on amazon. Im still awaiting for all the bits for my home build version but could well be tempted to grab a pre built one for not much more. But I guess they all the parts could have been running 24/7 for four years so who knows how that impacts the lifespan. But exciting times if you dont mind ending up with a motley crew of miss matched cases!

Ordered 64GB DDR3 1333 ECC (8x8), 2x Xeon E5-2670 C2 stepping, Corsair case, SSD+HDD, 850W Antec PSU and some cheap GTX 970 today :) - Everything should be at my place next week.

I am "only" missing the motherboard now - they are totally sold out like everywhere. Giving that I've got ECC ram, I guess I will go for Asus Z9PA-D8/D8C motherboard... if I could only find one available (not counting those for like 600 euros).

Anyone got a hint about that? I can take some other as well, as long as its under 300 euros :/

Give me some EU links please :)))

Thank you in advance

EDIT: Just ordered Z9PA-D8 from Computeruniverse. They currently don't have it and it is coming in two weeks, but for a price of 250 euros I guess I can wait :)

Tomislavn where do you live? I ask you because if you are in neighborhood I can give you a few links for new Asus z9pa-d8 ws for about 480-520€. There are few left in computer stores in my country. There are also a few new Intel MB like I bought but they rise up price to 350€. And if you have someone in Belgrade, you can ask him to see in computer stores, maybe there is a left new MB for 220€ like I bought.

EDIT
I just saw your edit. Great deal!
Can you please give me link for gtx 970?

I am still waiting for memory, processors and usb 3.0 card. All of that is at custom service since 12.6.2016.  HUH!
Till now I have:
1. MB Intel  S2600COEIOC
2. Case Phanteks Enthoo Pro Window
3. 2xfans LC Power LC-CC-120
4. PSU Chieftec CFT-750-14CS modular (I customized cables and as this PSU has 4 cables for GPU I modified one cable to 8pin cpu. PSU has 4x12v 18A rails so it will be like this V1-MB v2-cpu2 v3-cpu2 v4-gpu hdd)
5. Kingston 240GB ssd
6. 2x 1TB HDD
7. LG  BH10LS30 Blu Ray Writer
8. Additional case fans 2x14cm

I am still thinking about GPU. What shell I buy?

Well there is 4 pin to 8 pin cable. I had one but I didn't want to use this. My cables were too short for case I got and I wanted to use 4 pin for motherboard. I add 35cm to existing 8pin cable, add 40cm and change connector on 6pin GPU cable. I used  4x1mm yellow, 4x1mm black and 2,4mm and 16mm heat shrink tubing. I solder wires and put tubing. It looks good and I tested cables and PSU on working PC. There is one more reason, I wanted CPUs on different rails of PSU. PSU has 4 x 12V(18A) rails so I wanted to distribute current, I don't want rail with 4 and 8 pins to be on bout processors and two rails without load.

But I still waiting for processors. Processors and ram are in custom post office for a whole week!!!!!

EDIT
I read user manual for S2600COEIOC board I bought and 4 pin cable is additional supply for on-board PCIe slots. I want to use RAID Module RMS25KB080 and it seems that it needs power. On Chieftec ctf-750-14cs I have, rails 1 and 2 are used for main 24 pin. Rail 1 is used for hdds also. Rail 2 is connected to 4pin and 8pin cpu cable. There are 4 additional 12v cable sockets on rail 3 and 4 intended to max 4 GPUs. As I will use one GPU I will use rail 3 for 8pin second cpu cable and rail 4 for GPU.

Hey srmarkovic, thank you for your effort :) - I am from Croatia and we had absolutely 0 of those available in stores. I have checked computeruniverse (Germany) and those WS boards (Z9PE-D8 WS) are like 440 euros there. Ordered Z9PA-D8 in the end since I already had insanely good price for 64GB registered ECC DDR3 ram (like 70 euros for 8x8GB). I think Asus is a bit better choice since it has USB 3.0 already and quite good memory support. Gonna need to buy a sound card extra though :D (probably Asus Xonar).

I bought Asus STRIX GTX970 from a random guy that was selling his SLI cards on some local computer forum (200 eur each). Hopefully my processors and motherboard are here next week :).

Oh and by the way, about CPU coolers on Asus Z9PA-D8 - Does anyone know if it is narrow or standard layout for the socket? I guess it is narrow since its ATX - so I was wondering if my 2x Coolermaster Hyper 412s will be able to fit. They got adjustable crossed bottom hinges but I never tried using them on a narrow layout. Buttom looks the same as that Noctua-s 2011 cooler that Juraj mentioned, but still not sure about it :/

I'd love to buy a X79 board, but can't find any good deals locally or on ebay :|

220,-€ seems like a very good price for  S2600COEIOC. Is this a webstore or a local store?
