Don't know if this is already been discussed but is there an option to link a CoronaTriplanar within a material? Like if you're using Diffuse Spec and Bump textures which is different but have the same coordinates...

I'm looking for a solution on this as i always pay attention to make changes severall times within an material. I think this can be handled smarter.

Thanks!

You can use controller nodes to link parameters between several triplanar nodes. Works fine.

Like romullus mentioned...

Here is an example. Right click on your map nodes then select show additional params, then you can link them through the controllers

But is this working only with slate material editor? Any idea for compact material editor?

I don't know if it's possible to setup it in compact editor (probably not), but once you connect it in slate, it should work in CME too.

Interesting. I never really thought about how theres stuff you can do in slate that you cant do in compact.

That is understandable, because slate is more advanced material editor than compact one. However, it's a real shame that there are things that one can do in CME, but not in SME :]

It is possible to combine uvrandomizer with triplanar yes, but randomization by element isn't supported yet. It is planned for V2 or V3, can't remember exactly.

I try to use uvw randomizer map with ID material mode and Material By element modifier. It seems not working for me.

It works fine here. Maybe you set up it incorrectly?
