Can we please have .tif (16bit) file format for CIE.
The other ones are only 8bit and somehow i get wrong gamma if i export as exr. I know there is a gamma issue in PS if you open a 32bit exr where you have to use the embedded profile to get proper result but still my images are darker compared to png or jpeg.

I just tried CIE for the first time, and.. I'm actually very surprised by lack of save options. 16 bit TIFFs are very useful, so please implement that.

Just a note
If you require 16 bpc (ie. 32 bit > 16 bit) restrain from using PS as it clips to 15 bpc as soon as you open it (without any warning). Legacy, choice made by Chris Cox. (more)

Learn of Colors & LWF... so much for Light & Magic ;)

Ah that's interesting, funny how they justify this BS by an exact middle value. Converting from 32 to 16bits in PS will definitely shift tones, so yes, it's not an option. AE does it correctly, though.

Hi, yes the possibility to save 16 bit TIFFs is definitely something we would like to add into CIE. It won't be in 1.7 though.

Will this arrive with Corona 2?

Sorry, it is not forgotten but it won't make it to Corona v2.

we are doing bigger overhaul of image support. So 16bit tiff will come hand in hand with for example PSD support
