Hey,

I am wondering if it's supposed to be normal to have a shadow pass looking this flakey?
If not, how can I get rid of those bright spots?

The screenshots are from a simple test-scene to reproduce the issue.
It consists of scattered landscapes with a lightly reflective checkerboard physical material applied.

Those spots appear on final render shadow passes as well, even with a noise level limit of around 3-5.
They don't seem to disappear even after hours of rendering.
I didn't get those spots when still using V-Ray 3...

Attached you will also find my render settings.
I am using Corona 8.
The scene lighting consists of a simple corona sun and corona sky.

Thanks in advance!
