[Max] I need help! / Proxy RC1-2 not usable w/ 1.7.4

Hi,

Got myself into a bad situation, I try and use Corona 2 Build since 2 to 3 month, Made a lot a proxy, max file, and library.

I work with anoher company, so I had to switch back to Corona 1.7.4, for my new works. and Find out that none of cproxy file are readable w/ 1.7.4 is this a known limitation?

For now I reinstall RC3 + merging proxy into mesh  -> save max file -> install 1.7.4 -> reproxy...

hi sorry for late answer, got myself into a rush.

The Spline object has a Editpoly on top to add Faces, I Collapse It after but same issues. (Scatter03.jpg)
It is the only distribution object(Scatter01.jpg). But I have another Corona Scatter with the same distribution object. (Scatter02.jpg)

I scatter Onto 2d surface, I do not use 1D Spline so no jitter nor Offset

I did shout hurrah too soon.

Bug is still there, I try 3 another Cameras and randomness happens all over the place...

Just for Info I use a Splineobject (made of many splines) + edit poly + Xform as a support of CoronaScatter.

I will try to Collapse this.

hi,

the "Temporal Consistency" checkbox did the job , everything is good, all nodes render exact same Coronascatter, no more rotation or movement.

Hi,
didnt have time to test the "consistancy option"

but the bug is about 3 nodes rendering bad frames. Bads nodes are random has said before. But on a renderjob all frames render by those node went wrong.
Every time a run a new test, Other nodes render bads frames.

i ll give you some feedback as soon as my job goes through the renderfarm.

hi, it only happens on Corona Scatter. Multiscatter are fine.

Ok for "Temporal consistency" option to enable, I ll give a shot.

100% sure corona are the same version. and has said before, it happen on a random basic on random node.

Hi,

I got some very disturbing bug, I render frames over network for an animation, a simple flythrough, but on random nodes, Objects within Coronascatter "rotate".

I restart job three time, Stil same bug, BUT on some other nodes ! (ex. test01 bug on render 10 an 36, test02 bug on render 4 and 51,...)

We have over 60 Nodes, all have acces to the same ressources, have same corona version.

To give some extra info, I got A few multiscatter Too in this max file.

anyone got this issue?

I think I understand what trigger the bug. The question is, Is this a bug, or am I just missing the thing...

The stripe Pixel if more or less 500 000 pixel = 3840*130 (499 200), which is Exactly the Numbers of MAX PIXEL TO TRANSFER AT ONCE.

So Is this a limitation, I missed, And I must increased the number. Or is this a bug anyway?

I didn't take time to Size up the limit and Make some test.

I will check, I reintall the slave this moring, BUT with Build 27 march 2017 > same Issue.

I Will download this afternoon the nuew build and get back to you

Sorry for Logs, I have reinstalled many time Corona (news builds), and it seems to erase every time the log file. Or juste to escessive on Purging Temps File on node HArd Drive.

Yes It did happend before, on a pure random basis.

The slave render only a Stripe (a very noise free Stripe...) and every thing else is pure black.

I think I notice tjat the stripe moves everytime, from bottom to too, By the increment on the pixel height... CAn be sure, because, I didnt take time to analyse, but I can enable retain EXR to figure out if it is.

I have 4 renders to run today, I will take attention to those. and get back to you.

[Max] Resolved Bugs / DR Render Node stuck on random stripe

Hi I m using Corona lastest build 1.6 27 March, But Bug was allready there in previus 1.6 beta.

Main Machine XEON 2973V4 64 Go Windows 10, Render Node  XEON 2973V4 48 Go Windows 10.

On a random basis, can't figure out how to have the bug, The node get stuck on a Stripe to render, And not contributing on the whole Image.
It is very annoying because the node doesn't allway contribute to the full render, and render passe go cray 1500 pass after 8 min...

See attached image.

I have no Render Region (Max of VFB) activated, and take special care to disable every region.

If someone have any clue.
