In this post we are going to cover how to create a realistic swimming pool by using noise modifiers and then render it out in Corona Renderer.

Step 1: Creating the Water Surface
Step 2: Creating a Pool Water Material
Step 3: Render with PPM and mask the pool
Step 4: Compositing in Photoshop

Enjoy!!!

Great! Looks amazing and quite simple (:

I have a couple of questions for you:
- For the water refraction shouldn't you use an IOR of 1.33 for realism sake?
- If our swimming as a pattern at the bottom (or some tiling), should we also select the pool mesh when you do the "viewport selection" render
- Is there any other situation where you'd use the PPM render engine?
