Hi!
I would like to get the possibility to have corona interactive rendering with 2D panzoom mode of 3ds.
It will be so convenient for material settings.
Regards!

good catch, I don't see a reason why this shouldn't work

on second thought, I am not sure if this is expected to work as the result is not rendered in scanline either

IMO this is not necessary if blow-up mode works, which is essentially the same thing.
Although if you manage it, why not :)

Sorry for bumping this old topic, but i'd be more than happy to see that feature reconsidered. While blow up region rendering mode does the same job, it is frustratingly inconvenient to use. 2D zoom paired with render selected or region render, would be ultimate tool helping material tweaking.

Yes, it's really useful for the viewports and it would be even more so in a rendered view, especially since blowup is slower to setup and control.
Please add this!

Yes I now take back what I said earlier... without dedicated in-viewport buttons for setting blow-up and regions it's just really slow and cumbersome. 2D Pan&Zoom would basically solve the issue. But ideally both methods would be implemented, of course...

Up for this feature to be implemented :)
