Latest beta 2 (from April 19), C4D 19.053, Win 10

Try to render the attached scene (editor, pv). "Preparing scene data" will never get finished. If you click somewhere into the GUI, C4D will be marked "Inactive" in task manager and keep hanging, with full CPU power drawn.
Switch off detailing and the rendering should begin immediately.

With B1 rc4 (this one I had still lying about), this does not happen, so it is something introduced with B2.

If I change the content of a channel and want to "undo" it, the IR renders "white" until I restart it.

Well, literally and figuratively in this case ;)

When I render the attached scene to PV/viewport/VFB, I get the desired result.
When I render to IR, I get a very clean toilet, but not quite what I had in mind.
I need to switch off the SDS to make it work (or dial the subdivision down to 0.

Started IR, got a crash. I hope I eliminated all native C4D AO stuff that was used in some (converted) mats.

Load the scene and render, there you are: artefacts.
Well, the only appear if you use a sky with really, really low settings, but when playing with a situation only lit by candles (and when I wanted to add a bit fading skylight) I stumbled across them.
The sky's intensity is 0.001, with a brighter sky the artefacts won't appear. It does not matter either if I use an intensity of 1 and REALLY lower the color values in a Rawa-Fake sky or if I use a Corona Light material with an HDRI where I really lower exposure or intensity - the artefacts will come over you.

Win 10, C4D Studio R19, Corona Beta 1 Release.

- Load the scene. "Ringe außen", point mode and loop selection should be active.
- Start IPR.
- Try to "loop select" any point loop of "Ringe außen".
- Restart C4D (or go have a cuppa, or a beer).

It does not seem to be the loop selection alone, this scene really loves to crash!

PPS
Still getting there slowly, but since it is an object from "native" C4D, it contains the C4D AO shader. I've seen crashes with the IPR (not when "only" rendering to VFB) that went away when I got rid of C4D's AO. Any hint of that in the bug report?

When you use a base glass material and a poly selection with that glass material plus a bump map, the render looks (literally) broken as soon as caustics are active.
You can avoid it by just using one glass material with the bump stuff on a UV map, but I liked the C4D way to mix together whatever you like. Unfortunately "Mix texture" is not possible yet either.

I got a couple of IPR crashes, they are not as reproducible as I had hoped, though.
I attached the bug report anyway, maybe you can find something in it.
I did some modeling (extrude, extrude inner, bevel, undo) when C4D crashed.

If you render the scene within the viewport or render window, everything works. If you try to render it in the IPR, C4D crashes with the first pass.
I reduced the scene as far as this, as soon as I delete either of the two vertex map tags, it does not crash any longer, I suppose the problem lies there.

I know they are easily set up, but I'd really like a checkbox in the light objects to simply add Volumetric Lights / Shadows to a Corona light.
Yes, Corona is a physically based renderer, but since the renderer with Mister Schwarzenegger's first name can do them and also claims to be physically correct, we should get them, too!

[C4D] Resolved Bugs / Freeze with C&P object

Steps:
Load "Corona Crash Part 1.c4d". The used bitmap "Face.jpg" is within the upload.
Load "Corona Crash Part 2.c4d".
Go to Part 1 and copy the object "Bonbon Gelb" in the object manager.
Switch to Part 2 and try to paste the object there.
End a frozen C4D with the task manager.

Repeat above steps but before copying the object, replace the bitmap in the layer shader of the only material (Diffuse slot) with a procedural shader.
No freeze.

[C4D] Resolved Bugs / Displacement un-broken

With this RC, displacement will not be calculated if there is more than one texture tag and the tag with the displacement is not the first in the line. No matter, if stacking is NOT involved or poly selections are set.

I suppose this results from the change to the latest RC where, actually with stacking only, the first tag's displacement is used. Please, fix this!

Motion Blur for Point Level Animation (PLA, "morphing", deformer animation including with joints) is not yet working. Are there plans to support it?
