There was a bug in Alpha v7/v7.1 that caused 3ds max to crash after 1.2.2015, because the usage period of Corona has expired. This was a bug and NOT an indended behavior (intended behavior was that corona would not load, but 3dsmax would). We are sorry for it.

As a solution, you can install Alpha v7.2 (https://corona-renderer.com/blog/alpha-v7-2/). I have recently fixed it so it does not contain the same bug after it expires (in 2 months). So downloading and reinstalling is recommended even if you already updated.

Or alternatively, you can remove Corona with this simple uninstaller: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,6483

Corona does not use Qt, so my best guess is that it is not caused by it. I would try installing the latest product update, or try to repair the 3dsmax installation
