I'm an absolute technical novice when it comes to anything inside the PC Case.

I'm wondering if this RAM - https://www.scan.co.uk/products/128gb-4x32gb-corsair-ddr4-vengeance-lpx-black-pc4-25600-3200-non-ecc-unbuffered-cas-16-20-20-38-xmp

Would be compatible with an Asus Rog Strix X299 E-Gaming? - the details for which are in the attached screenshot

Hi Dave,

From what I can tell, that memory will be compatible with the MB (https://pcpartpicker.com/products/memory/?compatible_with=n7VBD3) - PCPartPicker lists that exact memory as being compatible, although it doesn't technically list the 128GB option - assumably because it doesn't have anywhere that sells that combination in its database currently?

I also had a look on the MBU manufacturer spec (https://rog.asus.com/uk/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-x299-e-gaming-model/spec) and it does support up to 256GB memory so can't see why it wouldn't work.

Whether that memory is the 'best' one going is something that's beyond my understanding - CAS-latency and memory timings is too confusing.
