So this the a behavior that we got in all of our works.

If we use forest pro at higher resolutions the render times are abismal.

6000x3666, forest pro used in grass, trees and a massive carpet. The image is a 100% top view of a living room, so we dont see exterior only the shadows cast from the trees all over the furniture and carpet.
We got 24hours to clean up at 2.5% noise in a  threadripper 1950x + 3 dual xeons (E5620)

Ram usage was fine (about 50 - 60%) we have 80 + 90 gb per machine.

So the thing is is 24H acceptable times to 1 image  ? This seems to me rater excessive.

Some rendering stats? samples/s, rays/sampe, num total passes,... Check albedo color on walls and also check materials of objects which cover the most of the area on render...if they are not too complex. I sometimes forget to use portal material in windows :D, but probably it is not your case :) .
BTW. nice renders on your web page, maybe 24h to clean up is normal in that top view....did you try another camera angle in that room at that resolution?
