Looking good. You could work on the road itself - differentiate the texture and geometry around it, and maybe add some kind of a hero object in the foreground - dead tree trunk or something like that to break a bit the greenery.

The images look really nice. The scale was bothering me also from the beginning. I think that your camera is positioned too high. Currently it feels like it was rendered form the house ceiling level.
Compliments on the greenery tho!

I really like the images. Nice attention to detail in the shaders. The countertop and bricks look especialy good. Mind sharing the source for wood texture used for the countertop ? Keep posting (or maybe you have any behance gallery :) ?) !

I really like the new version. Looks very convincing.

Also thanks for the heads up on the HDRI's. Never tried noemotion but i use hdrlabs. I encourage you to try Cave Room, also gives good results (artificial ceiling light) - i do switch several HDR's while eyeballing the material on the shaderball trying to check if it works in different lighting situations.

Wow!
Those samples look really good! I see a lot of potential.
Maybe the brushed aluminium is a bit too strong. Now it kinda looks like freshly milled piece of metal, but the direction is certainly good.

As a side question - could you point any directions to the hdri you're using in your testscene ? It seems to be well suited fot this kind of tests.

Thanks and keep it up!

Still IMHO you guys are comparing apples to plums ;-)
Both have their fans, but the one thing that they trully have in common is that they're both fruits and grow on trees.

Never seen trully commercial jobs by BB, the ones that he publishes are his personal works.
As everyone knows - they are flawless. But you can do everything up to your taste in personal projects, do as many shots as you want, from the angles you want, and you have as much time as you want.

Commercial jobs on the other hand tend to be a constant battle with the client, because they all "know better", and as long as they pay, you have to respect that and work out a compromise.

And concerning commercial jobs i think that Coronauts images are really, really great, and I am pretty sure, that provided enough time he could bring them to the next level :-)

One can really see the amount of work that gone into this set.
The shaders and light are great. Maybe the dark version of the room with a tree shaped logo on the wall could be a bit brighter.
The noise comes directly from the frame buffer, or you added it in post ?

Could you please also shed some light on the caramel leather shader ? It's one of the best leather shaders I've seen here !

BTW is the design also Yours ? If so, good job !
