Title: Film Grain
Post by: cjwidd on 2021-11-30, 01:38:42
Trying to improve my approach to film grain (noise) in post to emulate photographic imaging, wondering if anyone has any tips? Also, looking for a premium film grain / noise PS action, or something similar, because I don't really want to spend too much time dialing-in film grain to get the right look, if it can be done in a more efficient manner.

Right now I'm using ArionFX HDR film grain - it's nice, but few options to adjust grain size, color, roughness, etc.

I do not know if this is what you are looking for, but here you can find some film grain overlays. I only had a quick look at the free assets which seem to be quite nice.

Yes, I was looking for assets like these - thank you!
I've already tried Lutify, and their 50MGp film grain is pretty nice.
