Located near the Tagus river, in Lisbon, Portugal, this building sets to deliver one of the best dwelling experiences the city has to offer.

Not only does it allow its users to bathe in the 8-months-per-year Mediterrenean Sun, but also in their own flats' private pools. All this while enjoying a priviliged unobstructed view of the river.

Hi Erald,

Thank you for your honest words.

You´re absolutely right. I will try to improve it, and upload it as soon as I can.

Hello all,

Here is an ongoing Project we are working on, right now, with Corona 1.7.

All the 3d models were created from scratch.

The blankets and the pillows were done in Marvelous Designer - was the 1st attempt, and went well.

CC are welcome.

Hello,

Here are a few images done with 3dsmax 2013 + Corona 1.7.

The space used to be our office, in Lisbon. It will be used as a home, and this is our vision of what it will become.

CC are welcome.

My main concerns about this is the low quality HDRIs in the background, and the fact that it looks like there is no glass in the windows. Otherwise the lighting is smooth and even, and the modeling looks great too!

Hi Sportler,

Thanks for your constructive feedback!

You´re right on both questios:

- About the HDRI, I didn´t use one. I used Corona Sky and Sun.
The image you see in the background is a jpeg with low resolution, added in post. The client didn´t send me one photography from the surrounding, so I had to use this one..

You´re right, there are no glasses on the windows.. I was having problems with that, so I removed them.

Cheers

Vasco

Yes you're right!

The guy was a bit drunk that morning, and his wife(not the friends) went out in the middle of the breakfast. Now he is thinking where she can be.

Maybe in the next images we will have the answer to this really important question!

Ah the stories that renders can tell :)

Eheh.. why do you need a movies, when you have images?

Nice work :D How long did it take to render each image?

Hi Altaj,

Around 4 to 5 hours each image. But with a bigger size (5555 x 3486 px) than this one that is posted.

The time increased a lot when started to use the hair and fur on the carpets, and also the displacemente on the bathroom tiles.

Cheers

Hello all,

Finally we´re able to publish some images we´ve done for the new Suits in Vancouver.

The design is done by CHIL.

Some of the furniture was modeled by us, and some other was bought or downloaded.

Would love to hear your comments and critics.
Thanks

Best regards,
Vasco

Wonderful renders. Congratulations.

However, don´t like the wall with stone on the new update. Seems a bit fake and weird, for me.

Maybe is because the difference between the areas with displacement and the clean surface is to abrupt. Just a constructive opinion.

Hey

Great images. The background comes directly in the render, and sky, or did you add it in post?

Thanks

The DOF is from Corona, or post production?

Hi,

Very nice for 1st time.

Maybe the bump on the wall is too strong ?

Also, the render time is a bit too much for a scene like this. What are your computer specs?
