Hi,
can you share the scene? Does the problem go away when you center the plane to 0 0 0 (scene origin)?

Your Forest Pack transformation parameters are at 0? I am thinking about translation.

is there a solution?

Depends on the mode you use. You have to deal with the distance map as a world coordinate map.

- using UV-mode: create UVW map on the surface with 200x200m size (for meter scenes) or 2x2m for cm scenes (I have no explanation for those values) and align the lower left corner to world 0,0,0 and set rotation(s) to 0. Same for all surfaces combined with areas.

- using XY-mode: align the forest object itself to world 0,0,0 and rotation(s) 0

Good Luck

Btw: This is not a bug of the CoronaDistance map, it's just the way FP handles maps.

Never underestimate the power of a well placed level one spell.

I just encountered this issue and setting the transform of the Forest Pack object to 0,0,0 resolved the issue; 'surface' selected for the Forest Pack object is also at 0,0,0, but non-planar.
