Nevermind, turned out the frame rate in the Render Settings did not match the document. 🙈

Hi all,

I did not experience this before but with Corona 11 the animation is not always showing correct in the rendered frame. Is there anything I should be aware of? I did set it to the animation preset in the render setting but this does not change it. It's just a simple rotation animation so it seems a bit overdone to have to bake this down.

Thanks,
Joost

In the Corona Bitmap there's an option to select Embedded Color profile. I have textures that have an AdobeRGB profile attached but with the Embedded option selected Corona still uses sRGB. When using the Cinema 4D bitmap it does take the profile into account.

I was just searching the forum to find info on image sampling when I found your post. It is indeed strange that dragging in an image in the Corona node editor creates a C4D bitmap. The Corona bitmap is so far hidden in the menu that I have never used it before.

I am using it now and it solves my image sampling problem (sharper and less washed out). The render times seem to be faster as well but I have not measured this.

[C4D] Feature Requests / Re: Zoom in material node editor

I'm also used to alt-right click to zoom (using a Wacom). This works in the C4D viewport and native node editor but not with the Corona Node Material Editor.

Is this request still on the list? It does not seem to work for the latest daily build.

Hi all,

Is there an option to output the opacity of a layered material as a multi-pass? I have two materials with their own Material ID. When they are stacked in C4D I only get an output for the top material. With Redshift this is possible by using custom AOV's. Is there something like this in Corona?

Thanks,
Joost

Thanks for the prompt reply. I am however not looking for object masks but material masks. The object I am rendering is a product with 2 kinds of materials that are layered. Both materials should become visible as an AOV.

[C4D] I need help! / AOV mask output of layered materials
« on: 2019-11-20, 16:49:28 »
Hello,

I recently started using Corona in Cinema 4D. One thing I am missing is the ability to export texture masks of layered materials as AOV's. With Redshift this can be done with custom AOV's. Both using Corona layered materials and the C4D way of stacking materials does not output a material ID mask for me.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Joost
